Resort Access:
Emerald Island Resort requires a one-time resort access fee of $20 plus tax per vehicle, payable directly to the resort upon arrival. This fee covers gate access and vehicle registration for the duration of your stay.

Damage Protection:
A damage protection option is required for all reservations and is processed through our third-party system prior to arrival. The available options depend on the length of your stay:

1-night reservations: Guests are required to provide a $250 refundable security deposit. This is a pre-authorized hold (not a charge) that will be released following a damage-free inspection after checkout.
Reservations of 2 nights or more: Guests may choose between the $250 refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver of $20 per night, capped at $100. The damage waiver covers accidental damages beyond normal wear and tear.

Check-Out:
Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Our housekeeping team arrives promptly after departure to prepare the home for the next guests. Late check-outs affect housekeeping schedules and future reservations. Unauthorized late departures may result in a fee of up to $300.

Starter Supplies:
This is a self-catering vacation home. To help you settle in, we provide a complimentary starter supply of household essentials, which may include toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and basic toiletries. These items are intended to help you get started and may not last for the duration of your stay. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies they may need during their visit.

Our kitchen is equipped with the essentials you'll need to prepare everyday meals during your stay. Please help us care for the home by disposing of food waste properly. Avoid pouring grease, oil, coffee grounds, or food scraps down the sink, as they can cause plumbing issues. If the home is equipped with a garbage disposal, please use it only for small food particles while running cold water.

If you notice anything missing or have any concerns upon arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist.

Pet Policy:
This home is pet friendly! We welcome your furry companions and kindly ask that they are supervised at all times, cleaned up after, and treated with the same care and respect as the home itself. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or excessive cleaning that may be required after their stay.
